Almost a decade ago, Amol Kumar opened Leo’s @weknowpizza and, in many ways, changed how Delhi thought about pizza. Back then, conversations around sourdough, fermentation, hydration and Neapolitan pizza were hardly everyday dinner-table vocabulary. Today, Delhi has a serious pizza culture, from wood-fired Neapolitan pies to Detroit-style slices, sourdough bases and now, giant New York-style slices you can fold and eat with your hands. Enter NYNY @nynysliceclub , Amol’s latest venture in Hauz Khas, where 18-inch pies are sliced up and served with a side of cocktails, music and unapologetic New York energy.
